Being chosen for this award recognizes and validates the hard work and love I have put in throughout my nursing school journey. The last few years have been hard but have shown me the determination and compassion I truly have for this profession. I have 2 goals I will attain as a nurse: working ICU trauma and running my own health and wellness clinic. I truly believe that everyone, whether you are a patient in a hospital or a client in a clinic, deserves to, and should be, treated with respect, dignity, and humanity. This award recognizes these traits in me, and I am so grateful for that.
