Gianluca Miele
When I first entered Dawson in the Biomedical Laboratory Technology Program fresh out of high school, I was filled with doubt and uncertainty. However, throughout these last three years, my friends, family, and classmates stood by me with constant encouragement and support, reminding me that I was able to achieve this goal. In addition to this continuous support, the faculty and staff of the Biomedical Laboratory Technology Program were undoubtedly a critical pillar in accompanying me on this journey.
This award is not just a recognition of my efforts, but a reflection of my personal, academical, and professional growth. The Biomedical Laboratory Technology Program pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, develop confidence in myself and my abilities, as well as embrace the responsibility that comes with being in this profession. I am very proud of how far I’ve come, and receiving this award motivates me even more to continue learning, improving, and giving back to the profession that has already given me so much in return.
