Tanushaa Kanagasingam
My humanities courses reminded me that I was forgetting about the human world, while I was learning about the physical world as a science student and that there was just so much to learn outside of my concentration courses. Receiving this award means everything to me because it recognizes this journey of self-discovery and supports my goal of becoming a healthcare professional who combines scientific knowledge with skills such as empathy and communication that I have developed in these courses. This award not only celebrates my growth, but the beautiful truth that education shapes us beyond academics because it fosters our growth into becoming well-rounded individuals.
