I am deeply grateful for this award. I feel seen and recognized by my community. I strongly believe that I would have been unable to accomplish any of my work at Dawson had I not been supported by the countless peers and mentors I have found myself extremely lucky to be surrounded by. Today, I am proud to be learning. I am proud to be studying art and media. I hope to continue contributing to the betterment of our communities and systems through communication and mediation.
